Facebook is buying virtual reality firm Oculus for $2bn

Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg is planning to buy Occulus VR for virtual reality headset for video gamers. They are planning to buy it for $2 billion. The company stated that this includes $400 million in cash and 23.1 million shares of Facebook common stock. Zukerberg posted that he was excited to announce that they are going to acquire Oculus VR, the leader in virtual reality technology. He also posted in facebook that "Oculus's mission is to enable you to experience the impossible. Their technology opens up the possibility of completely new kinds of experiences."
