Job Description

1.Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
2.Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
3.Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet.
4.Return and restock cart at end of shift.
5.Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
6.Providing exceptional guest service, including offering assistance to Colleagues and Guests in a courteous manner
7.Performing routine work
8.Cleaning hotel guestrooms and boardrooms
9.Cleaning public areas
10.Cleaning heart of house areas
11.Reporting maintenance issues and deficiencies, and resolving these issues where appropriate
12.Maintaining order and cleanliness in all storage areas
13.Resupplying amenities as needed
14.Properly using and maintaining equipment
15.Using hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
16.Understanding simple instructions, learn simple procedures and techniques
17.Reporting any problems or questions to the Supervisor in a timely manner so that they may be addressed and resolved
18.Reporting, delivering and storing lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
19.Maintaining excellent grooming and uniform standards
20.Reading, understanding and following all department policies
21.Attending daily pre-shift briefings and departmental meetings
22.Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors or management
23.Cleaning of the room, dusting the room and furniture.
24.Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the closet.
25.Vacuums and racks the carpet, Checks and secures the rooms.
26.Replenish amenities according to the operational standards.
27.Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
28.Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
29.Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required, Cleans guest bathroom/bedroom/floor corridor.
30.Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
31.Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
32.Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately, Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
33.Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
