Senior Engineer QA Appliances 5-7 years Navi MumbaiPosted On 16-10-2015 Functional Area IT - Functional Role IT - QA Testing Experience 5-7 years Job Location Navi Mumbai As an integral member of Protegrity worldwide R D group spread across multiple locations USA Sweden China and India you will be responsible to provide with testing and certification services to the various products developed across all Protegrity development centers You will join a worldwide team and will be part of a global team spread across multiple locations USA UK China Ukraine Sweden and Germany Main Responsibilities Creation of test plans test requirements and test cases Write and execute test scripts for automation integrate test scripts with automation frameworks Establishment of test procedures and product certifications Maintain and update test cases according to new features and platforms Specification and execution of longevity tests Specification and execution of performance and stability tests Test status reporting as part of product release or on demand certification Generation of bug reports and tracking Supporting the development team by reproducing customer issues Maintenance of test platforms to provide complete coverage of supported systems and configurations Understand and be able to write database scripts to validate and test data integrity and performance Required skills 5-7 years of experience in API testing test automation and manual testing in Unix Linux based Appliances Should have programming experience of 1-2 years in Python Java or C should have working experience in C C API testing Should have working experience in writing and executing test automation scripts experience in building and integrating with automation frameworks Should have working experience in Web services testing SOAP REST Working experience with testing of multi-threaded application Worked predominantly in Unix Linux environment experience in installation and configuration of Linux Unix based systems Working experience with database systems should have working experience in SQL Has worked in a small medium scale product based company Desired skills Knowledge of communication protocols such as HTTP TCP IP Working experience in LDAP Working experience in Security domain
