Sales Officer

Should have 0 to 1+ years relevant Home loan sales experience Freshers if MBA can also be considered

Role of the Officer

Sourcing by Geography and projects

Area Every officer is assigned a geographical area Each team member should be aware of their area If the Team Manager has not assigned the same, escalate the matter to the AM/ ASM/ SM and ensure you have the assignment done

Post Assignment Ensure that all sources in the area are identified and mapped on the Google Map File this in the personal file of yours

Builders/ Projects Within the geographical area assigned, you will identify projects, if the area assigned is new and supports new projects Else, you may have to identify projects in other upcoming areas The team manager will assign an additional area for this purpose and you should also print the google map for this area and file it 

Should you have some builder relationships, you will also be assigned areas where these developers have upcoming projects If there are disputes which arise with such relationships and the same have to be settled locally

Ensure a 40% or more share from every source


It is known that persistence pays in developing any relationship provided that the relationship call is welcome by the person being visited

It must be ensured that you are consistent in your visits to every source based on business expected from them Visiting a small broker once a day will be wasting time as the broker is neither expecting this kind of attention nor is it justified to put in so much effort for a lead per quarter


An officer should always be well groomed and his kit should be organized and complete The HR manual defines the grooming guidelines


Maintain the Diary for the following

Appointments for the day
Pipeline of logins and disbursements
At the beginning of the month record source visits for the month in advance for every day when a visit is planned
Record action dates related to customer or sources, enabling an officer in keeping promises


Every officer should know the product completely Must be aware of the competition offerings and should be able to handle common objections from customers

CTC upto 10-15 K (depend on last ctc and exp) + can earn upto 25-30K
