Job Overview

The Sr Cyber Security, Threat Intel Analyst will operate as a contributing member of SAP Concurs Security team, with responsibility for SAP Concurs Public Sector cloud-based platform Successful candidates for this role must be very comfortable taking a leadership role and drive the research and implementation of security solutions, data analysis, and authors in-depth reports on threats, actors relevant to SAP Concur and its customers Expert in the intelligence cycle and analytic methodologies In-depth knowledge of the global threat landscape The candidate must have knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations such as the Federal Risk and Management Authorization Program (FedRAMP)

Responsibilities

Author in-depth reports on threats relevant
Provide expert analysis on strategic threats, actors
Monitor daily intelligence operations feeds; Collect raw data from feeds, open sources, partner groups, and internally-aligned cybersecurity elements as part of an all-source intelligence effort
Build, update, and maintain cyber actor threat profiles; track relevant malware
Develop and produce written tactical and strategic intelligence reports constructed from analysis of developing cyber events including data from intrusions, malware, DDoS, unauthorized access, insider attacks and loss of proprietary information
Respond to high-priority requests for information/intelligence from senior stakeholders
Assists in complex discussion around security requirements and solutions for the public sector with the ability to apply those concepts and applicable tooling to support business needs
Identifies and escalates where appropriate potential issues around process or technology

Education, Experience and Training Required

BA/BS degree or higher in International Relations, Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Cyber Security Computer Science, or related field
5 years of experience with intelligence analysis; preferably via the US Intelligence Community, Military Intelligence, or a Fortune 500 company
Network , Security , GSEC or CEH certification, relevant SANS training or other technical certifications
Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative/quantitative data from multiple sources
Intimate knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis, or other relevant network defense and intelligence frameworks
Experience with cyber, incident response and digital forensics, security engineering, security operations, network operations, information operations, information warfare, or topical cyber
Ability to write high-quality intelligence assessments and briefings for a senior-level audience
Ability to develop specific expertise, to discern patterns of complex threat actor behavior, and to communicate an understanding of current and developing cyber threats
Ability to leverage well-honed online researching expertise to identify and navigate relevant online forums, including Web sites, social media, and traditional sources to support research and analysis
All offers of employment are contingent on standard background checks This position will support a federal government contract Applicants must be able to obtain Public Trust security clearance as required of federal government contractors to include a background check conducted by the US Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment for public trust or sensitive positions For this level of clearance, applicants must possess US citizenship

Understands security best practices, threats, mitigating techniques and evolving security landscape
Aptitude for translating complex, security subjects into clear, business-oriented communications
Ability to work as part of a team and individually
Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently
Experience with emerging computer or online technologies, online social behaviors, and computer or Internet slang
Experience with targeting in a government Intelligence Community agency
Knowledge of network security technologies, log formats, SIEM technologies, and security operations
Ability to display proficiency in priority foreign languages, including Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin or Russian
2 years of experience as a writer or editor of intelligence and/or threat-related analysis
