Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Project Management officer - Chennai Experience 3 to 0 yrs Skills Required Job Summary RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities of this position include owning and cultivating client relationships for assigned clients during the implementation phase and throughout the ongoing relationship This candidate must have excellent communication and client management skills in order to maintain positive client relations This candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment They must possess initiative to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with clients They must also be proactively reviewing account activities and staying in sync with the Sales team to identify and grow expansion opportunities within the account The primary responsibility of the Engagement Manager is to be the primary point of contact for clients during implementations and project delivery They will be responsible for overseeing all client implementations, coordinating and prioritizing conflicting priorities in addition to being the voice to the client regarding status updates, scope changes, timelines and budgets The Engagement Manager oversees and prioritizes project tasks, timelines and project plans that are in conflict and communicates status to Sales, Implementation Managers, Senior Management and Clients as needed Additionally, the Engagement Manager often works with clients and may need to travel on-site to client meetings Ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements is another responsibility The Engagement Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple client projects at one time This role is responsible for scope management, change management, estimating impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) as well as managing project resources SKILLS REQUIRED Assess/evaluate client requirements against existing programs, scope of project, manage project plan and schedule Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication Responsible for managing client expectations and championing their needs Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously Strong internal communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization (development, sales, marketing, operations and within the Professional Services Group) Experience in the software, Banking or financial services industries (strongly preferred) Demonstrated focus and commitment to measured results Excellent writing and verbal skills Must thrive on teamwork Ability to multi-task and prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines Honesty and integrity in all job responsibilities Results-oriented approach with a can do attitude and a passion for the details and continuous improvement Ability to gain confidence and trust of cross functional teams Superior work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction both internal and external Maintain and improve Client satisfaction through strong working relationships, successful projects and delivering value at all times QUALIFICATIONS 4 years related experience Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience
