HPE Pointnext R&D is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated product management candidates for a role as a product manager The position will utilize competitive analysis, business strategy, planning and product management skills to drive best practices and execution of Pointnext roadmaps The position will collaborate with portfolio and solutions managers to drive goal achievement with communication and visibility at the executive level

As content authority, the Self-Solve product manager leads prioritization and sequencing of work for key teams within the Self-Solve Agile Release Train
Aligns with customers, internal stakeholders, and R&D portfolio and solution product management to develop and drive release train vision and priorities, contextualizing strategy for development teams
Develops and drives continuous feature backlog refinement for case management, HPE support portal home page, document display, customer feedback mechanisms, chat, and other functions
Defines releases and program increments, partners closely with teams to scope internal and external system and solution demos
Drives feature definition, acceptance criteria, and behavioral and attitudinal user research together with user experience design team; establishing consistent measures of success and feedback loop into solution and portfolio team
Clearly document customer/stakeholder needs and be their voice to the development teams

Responsibilities

The Self Solve product manager will play a key role in defining and realizing the self solve solution roadmap Responsibilities include

Based on a strong knowledge of trends in the industry affect the strategy/direction of the product line/line of services or solutions
Suggest strategy changes internally and with external stakeholders
Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated products/services/ solutions
Improve processes affecting cross functional teams
Seen by development and business teams as an expert the self solve solution area and regularly is called on to defend the benefits in front of key stakeholders
Regularly recommends product/ service/solution strategic direction to senior management
Drive shared understanding of the self solve solution strategy with internal and external stakeholders
Drive best practices for feature definition, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement for self-solve release train

Education and Experience Required

Bachelors (or equivalent) degree, technical discipline preferred
MBA or advanced degree preferred
8 years of work experience in product management or related field
Familiar with HPE server, storage and networking products

Knowledge and Skills Required

Expert team skills and ability to drive/influence work through others in cross functional areas
Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to simplify complexity and lead others through ambiguity
Expert business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection
Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific training
Ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects
