The PMO professional provides a formal, centralized layer of project control and integration in the unit/account program and serves as a trusted advisor to the program/project manager/service partner The PMO assumes both execution responsibilities of specific project management areas, as well as project and program management governance support responsibilities

What will your job look like

You will be responsible for building and tracking holistic (E2E) program/project plan, covering all aspects of the program - including deployment, give and get, etc
You will ensure that the program/project is planned correctly, that the owner of each deliverable is identified correctly and that work is executed and aligned with the program/project charter in order to meet the KPIs and planned deliverables
You will be responsible for providing an integrative view and analysis of the various project aspects within the program to enable better decisions making Ensures that information is gathered and disseminated to all stakeholders/management
You will track and highlight trends and raise areas of concern regarding possible deviations from project and program plans
You will support program and project governance - perform project audits/reviews and extract lessons-learned
You will prepare risk management reports and statuses, perform reviews of various project activities to identify and highlight risks and develops appropriate contingency plans
You will deploy effective and auditable methods for those areas under the Project Management Offices responsibility and Implement project Management tools and best practices

Role Description

The PMO Professional provides governance over one or more projects / streams

This role is responsible for program/stream management areas such as planning, analyzing information and providing status reports that enable predictability and transparency, reporting on deviations, monitoring, control, and risk management

The PMO Professional is also responsible for early notifications, raising flags and on time and suggesting mitigations

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the following project / program / stream management areas Projects gates preparation, value and KPIs definition and tracking, budget, resources, schedule, risks, change control, communication, etc according to Amdocs Projects Management methodology
Maintains communication with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels project interlock
Responsible for building and tracking project / stream work plans, ensuring that all aspects of the plan are covered (completeness)
Ensures that the projects / streams are planned correctly, that owners of each deliverable are correctly identified, and that the work is executed and aligned with the project / stream charter to meet the KPIs and planned deliverables
Responsible for defining and providing project / stream status reports, tracking and highlighting trends that enable predictability and achieve transparency, providing early alerts and suggesting mitigations
Responsible for building and tracking budget and resource plans, ensuring all aspects of the plan are covered and the budget plan is aligned with the project / stream charter in order to meet the P&L/budget
Governs risks and issues, facilitates periodic status and risks / issues discussions with project stakeholders
Governs program change control
Responsible for the management of deliverables (internal and external)
Governs the scope backlog (optional)
Maintains project documentation
Ensures alignment to program management methodology and tools, and contributes to knowledge sharing of procedures, methods and tools to support PMO activities
Collaborates and creates synergy with other PMO professionals
Critical Experiences

Minimum of 4 years experience in project methodology and management and PMO processes
Experience in at least two programs successful completion
Experience of driving people to promote activities (employees who do not report to PMO)
Mastery of PO knowledge
Familiar with Agile methodology and tools advantage
Mentoring skills advantage
Prior PMO experience in a software or hardware company advantage
Credentials

Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or Economics
PMP certification (an advantage)
