Job Description:

The primary role of Senior Team Manager is to manage the Management Information, Planning and Appraisal (MIPA) team to provide efficient, timely and accurate Management Information to the Key stakeholders such as Profitability analysis, Cost Analysis, and Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Analysis This includes line responsibility of a team of finance professionals who support the Pipeline and Distribution business The team is primarily responsible for ensuring financial quality and integrity of MI reporting, latest estimates, planning and Business analysis The team will also liaise closely with the primary business stakeholders and interfaces with other process areas in Finance operations to build end to end perspective Requirements Technical skills Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance A Chartered Accountant or CPA with a minimum of 8-10 years of Post Qualification experience in Accounting or other relevant Finance discipline (preferably Accounting) with prior supervisory experience required Understanding of the RDS corporate structure and governance processes, IAS (International Accounting Standards) and Shell Group Accounting Standards Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications especially Excel Familiarity of SAP Luminon and GSAP, Pipeline and MLP business will be an added advantage Leadership skills Ability to lead multiple work-streams with a global reach and to work with a variety of stakeholders from different businesses globally Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in coaching and training Proven ability to motivate others and develop strong relationships with staff at all levels Self-motivated, self-starting, able to build and lead a team and manage/integrate with others in different functions and in a multicultural and diverse business environment Demonstrated Enterprise First mindset with related values and behaviours Proactive, creative and pragmatic thinker, looking beyond the scope of requests being made Highly developed analytical skills with perceptive and clear strategic abilities Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including senior stakeholders Clear and concise English communication, both oral and in written, is a must Experienced in working in a virtual environment Affinity for change and the ability to work in ever evolving teams as well as through others Specific Job Competencies required Effective communicator of complex accounting and closing issues Business Process Improvement focus No of Positions 1
