Theres a job role of FUNDRAISING DEVELOPEMENT MANAGER

Location - Home location (Resident manager)

Vacancies - Five to Ten

Job Responsibilities -

1) Develop corporate fundraising programs, such as employer gift-matching

2) Monitor progress of fundraising drives

3) Compile or develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations

4) Develop and maintain media contact lists

5) Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions

6) Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events

7) Direct or supervise fundraising staff, including volunteer staff members

8) Secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors

9) Create or update donor databases

10) Establish fundraising or participation goals for special events or specified time periods

11) Explain the tax advantages of contributions to potential donors

12) Identify and build relationships with potential donors

13) Monitor budgets, expense reports, or other financial data for fundraising organizations

14) Contact corporate representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational causes, activities, or needs

15) Design or produce materials such as posters, Web sites, or newsletters to promote, market, or advertise fundraising events

16) Develop fundraising activity plans that maximize participation or contributions and minimize costs

17) Develop or implement fundraising activities, such as annual giving campaigns or direct mail programs

18) Write reports or prepare presentations to communicate fundraising program data

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

3-5 years of relevant work experience in client facing roles
Proficient user of the MS Office toolkit
Communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills, project management and must pay attention to detail
Commitment to excellence and accuracy, with an ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic




Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

Entrepreneurial attitude, working independently while also being a team player
Ability to source new leads through research, take initiative and ownership to pursue them
Strong time management skills and ability to remain flexible in order to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadlines
Sectoral exposure to corporates/ foundations / worked with HNIs with experience with fundraising
