Job Overview 

The most important responsibilities of the Business Development Manager would be to identify new business opportunities, pitch the services to the prospective client and develop a good working relationships with the new contacts thus Business Development Manager would be largely responsible for the top-line growth of the company and thus is expected to be highly motivated and target driven

Experience in the Event Management Industry would be considered an added advantage

Responsibilities

Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales documents
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s services
Developing quotes and proposals
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met




Qualifications & Experience

MBA/MMS with a Sales and Marketing Specialization




More than 5 years of Experience in Sales, with at-least last 3 years being in Event Management Industry




Skills Required The skills you need to excel in this position include

Good with numbers
Able to provide quality leadership to a large team of sales people
The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines and Targets
