Diversity & Engagement Lead, LAN Cluster - LATAM

Description this individual contributor role is responsible for driving the diversity and engagement strategy for the Latin America North (LAN) cluster by executing global, regional and cluster initiatives He/She will collaborate with key stakeholders across the firm to develop and implement diversity best practices with a clear focus on achieving measurable, sustainable and repeatable results The LAN COE Diversity & Engagement Lead will work in close partnership with the LATAM Diversity Head, LAN HR partners, LAN business managers and country and business VOE Champions He/She will also work in close partnership with the LAN Talent and L&D specialists to guarantee alignment of these functions with diversity priorities The incumbent on this role will report into the LAN COE TL&C Head and has accountability on analytics, design, execution and alignment related to Diversity & Engagement initiatives for the LAN Cluster an organization of over 1900 employees



Partner in the development, maintenance, and execution of diversity & inclusion strategy aligned with the talent and business needs and priorities

Increase level of awareness, commitment and strategic action to attract/develop/retain diverse talent across the cluster by analyzing and presenting talent demographics, monitoring data trends, engaging senior level D&I champions and gaining their commitment to participate in D&I initiatives

Work in partnership with the Talent & Diversity regional office, recruitment, and campus recruitment to align diversity initiatives with the talent strategy and the broader Citi Human Capital outcomes

Engage with and partner with relevant diversity organizations that can serve as pipelines of diverse talent

Coordinate LAN participation of Citi diversity-sponsored initiatives and help coordinate diversity focused events

Design, implement, track and report on ROI of various diversity initiatives

Work in partnership with the Regional Diversity and Talent Management office to launch Citi-wide initiatives such as the IWD, Diversity Week, Representation Goals, and employee networks

Stay current with regulatory and policy developments affecting areas of responsibility


Support the VOE Champions Network through best practices sharing, exposure and recognition

Provide VOE and Engagement expertise/consultancy to business leaders and HR partners

Coordinate VOE application for LAN

Define the LAN action plan to strengthen VOE results

Provide guidance to LAN Sr Management


Deploy gender development initiatives in alignment with LAN Talent function

Define data driven strategies to strengthen womens representation in Sr leadership roles

Provide guidance to LAN Business and Function Heads to support their own gender representation goals

Guarantee alignment of the talent process with diversity priorities


Deploy Diversity in-house learning activities to managers and employees aligned with LAN training priorities

Create learning pathways to strengthen employees awareness and support to the Diversity agenda



Fluency in English and Spanish is required

Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience, including driving, and building multiple diversity and inclusion programs and projects

Passion for diversity and inclusion, experience working on a variety of diversity initiatives

Ability to collaborate cross functionally and execute in a fast pace and creative environment

Broad knowledge of diversity and inclusion processes, procedures, practices, resources and networks

Understands and responds to the subtle and complex diversity and inclusion challenges that relate to diversity in all its forms

Strong relationship management skills

Strong project management and analytical skills

Superior communication skills, written and verbal

Ability to work successfully across businesses

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, flexible in handling changing priorities

Accountability - assumes ownership for achieving personal results and collective goals

Masters Degree (or equivalent relevant studies / work experience) preferred
