Job Description:

To achieve annual sales target set for the assigned territory and sustain business and increase market share in the set territory To maximize sales volume and market share of designated products within an assigned territory

Core Job Responsibilities

To gain market share by promoting, selling and servicing assigned products within the assigned Area/region
Conduct Sales calls to promote sell assigned products and services to customers
Manage the TSM/Sales reps of the Area for meeting the revenue plan of the region/area
Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goal and objectives
Maintain good knowledge of products and support sales efforts of same
Coordinate customer activities at all meetings as assigned
Complete administrative reporting as assigned eg expense reports, account profiles & analysis, daily planners, inventory log etc
Costs effectively manage time & assets
Maintain adequate inventory and assist in the reallocation and delivery of product
Effectively utilize sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs
Support the Distributors
Payments follow up with customers for outstanding payments
Driving Sales Target for the assigned territory through effective KOL Management, Implant Support
Technical Expertise & strategic Marketing activities
Set a vision of excellence in results for the team and retain talented staff and Manage priorities and set expectations
Motivate employees to achieve goals and objectives
Actively implement and execute on strategies to improve the sales force effectiveness (SFE) of reports including, routine coaching of selling skills, review of business development plans and consistent performance feedback
In conjunction with senior management, sales managers and field staff negotiate major deals and oversee tenders with customers and other stakeholders
Work closely with Product Managers to roll out marketing strategies
Develop relationships with key opinion leaders & customers to develop sales and business strategies in line with company strategies
Manage change within your own role and for staff
Maintain and develop the corporate image I ethical reputation
Manage conflict within the organization
Maintain ongoing communication with staff and management
Assist in negotiating major deals with customers and other stakeholders
Manage stock control requirements
Attend company sales meetings and customer events as required
Some rural, interstate and possibly international travel will be required to fulfil your duties
Perform other related functions and responsibilities as directed by Manager
Meeting the set AOP Target
Ensure effective follow-up with physicians - based on business leads
Implement New product launch plans, objectives and tactics -as planned by Marketing Effective product promotion to KOLs & optimum KOL Management
Growing Market Share
Conducting CMEs, Workshops and Educational activities and Patient Screening Camps and OT staff training for Physicians, HCPs and ot technicians
Ensure all promotional activities are compliant with SJM Codes of Conduct

Other Functions & Responsibilities

Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner and according to Abbott Asias and Abbott countrys policy and requirement
Execute the job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Asia and Abbott country
Ensure applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Asia and Abbott country are executed

Minimum Education

Graduation in Science B Sc, B Pharma, BE & B Tech Biomedical Engineering MBA would be an added advantage

Work Experience

6 10 years of total experience

Experience in Sales in Pharma or Devices Cardiology Background is a must for the role
