As an Area Sales Manager Hospital Equipment your responsibilities include

Responsible for sales in the assigned territory and meet and exceed the assigned market share and revenue targets and objectives
Generate rental revenue, promote and negotiate new contacts, streamline the operations of billing, logistics, supply chain management, to address after sales service issues
Grow the category and retain market leadership in the Hospital Equipment Business
Drive secondary sales through the marketing & sales team and ensure the achievement of targets
Develop cordial business relationships with customers and potential customers
Maintain a high level of technical proficiency regarding the organizations products, services and techniques
Be alert to all competitive products; design, pricing, promotions and keep management informed in a timely manner
Increase awareness levels of consumers by providing in service training and other customer education in support of new product launches and to increase clinical knowledge of existing products and services
Submit timely reports of sales performance versus forecast, activities, product promotions etc

Desired Candidate Profile

BSc / BE / BTech / MBA with 4 to 6 years of experience in sales of hospital equipment or bio medical devices, equipment, products or services to Hospitals
Must have a strong connect with hospitals in the area
Strong Account management and Customer Relationship Management skills
Knowledge of commercial functions is necessary
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Willing to travel extensively in the assigned territory
