Position Summary:
Digital Marketing Consultant is a person who is an expert in identifying opportunities for improving customer experience through multi and cross-channel programs. Ideal candidate should have experience in conceptualizing &/or executing digital marketing programs that leverage digital channels. Also should be keen for consultative selling and should have exposure to the broader digital marketing ecosystem. The person should have experience in carrying out due diligence, identifying gaps and providing recommendations on digital marketing programs. In addition to broader exposure, in-depth exposure to a specific area like web analytics, marketing automation, campaign management or marketing cloud implementation would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consulting customers on the opportunities/gaps in their current digital marketing programs
- Identifying and defining business and operational KPIs that would help customers achieve their digital marketing goals
- Recommending tools and platforms that would help implement the defined use cases
- Development of use cases and scenarios for digital analytics that would directly impact business KPIs
- Development of use case & scenarios for cross-sell, up-sell, targeting & personalization by leveraging data from multiple disparate systems
- Preparing Go-to-Market plan for Digital Marketing Services
- Preparing collaterals & business plan for Digital Marketing services and getting buy in from leadership team for this business line
- Engaging with sales and pre-sales teams to identify web/digital marketing opportunities and develop value propositions to address the same
Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- 10+ years of delivery or consulting experience in Digital Marketing
- Expert in one or more of the following areas: Web Content Management, Web Analytics, Content Marketing, Digital Asset Management, Campaign Management, Conversion Rate Optimization, Search Marketing, Marketing Automation, Marketing Cloud implementation
- In-depth knowledge of key digital marketing concepts and the their application to the following areas: personalization, targeting, segmentation, lead generation & nurturing, campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Familiarity with latest trends in digital marketing as it is applicable to retail industry
- Knowledge of Omni-channel marketing use cases and scenarios
- Experience in digital marketing operations like Campaign Management, Analytics & Reporting
- Familiarity with popular digital marketing tools and platforms like Adobe
- Bachelors or Masters Degree
- Specialization in digital marketing preferred
