Sr. Manager-government Policy (leading MNC Pharma Company)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role:
- Engage with policy makers, regulatory authorities, decision makers, industry bodies, etc. for creating awareness about the company and its operations and initiatives
- Liaise with government officials to ensure smooth functioning of the company. Understand the working of central and state govt. organisations, identify and meet key stakeholders and build rapport with them
- Engage with Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce and international Industry Associations on regulatory updates
- Communicate and share global experiences on various policies with the policy makers and help create untapped opportunities in the Govt. Procurement System
- Help convince Govt. authorities to open access to more markets for the company

Requirements:
- MBA/ Post-Grad with 5-8 yrs of experience in a public policy/ regulatory affairs role at a Pharma Company
- Good understanding of the Central and State Government structure and functioning in relation to the Industry
- Good knowledge of policies being formulated by the Govt. related to the Health and Pharma sectors
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Good influencing ability
