Job description - Destination Expert (Holiday Package s )

What does a Destination Expert do
OYO receives travel packages queries from interested customers (B2C) or from MM (Micro Market Managers or OYO Field Demand Managers who meet Travel Agents, Corporates or directly consumers). Maximum enquiries come from website, then from MMs, then Incoming Calls.
A Destination Expert calls interested customers/MMs/TAs, understands their requirements, and customises travel plans to match their needs. His work involves
designing customised itineraries or mails readymade itineraries from Product Bible
costing of the package using OYO hotels, non OYO hotels, vendors
sales conversions by following up with B2C customers on phone calls and mails
handling his allocated MM accounts to get best relations & sales from them
handling the operations of files that he closes
creating booking on Booking Panel
managing vendors for taking quotes, price negotiations and good customer experience


Who are we looking for
- People with 1-4 years of sales experience selling Holiday Packages with a reputed OTA like Yatra, MMT, goibibo
- Passionate about travelling and good knowledge of some Domestic destinations
- Good communication and influencing skills - both verbal and written
- Self motivated person, who is comfortable working with monthly conversion targets

What does a Ops Executive do
Once a Destination Expert closes a sale, he passes the file on to a Ops Executive who handles the file thereafter. He takes care of
sending quotes to Travel Agents and MMs
customer payments,
voucher issuance,
follow up with vendors & transporters,
vendor payments,
coordination with Accounts

Who are we looking for
People with 1-4 years of sales/ops experience in Holiday Packages Division with Yatra, MMT, Thomas Cook, etc
Good negotiation and vendor management skills
Passionate about travelling and good knowledge of domestic destinations
Good communication and influencing skills - both verbal and written
Self motivated person, who is comfortable working with monthly conversion targets
