Job Description

For Foreign Passport Holders/ Foreign National your candidature will be subject to fulfillment of India Work Permit regulations and Visa requirements

Location : Gurgaon

Role purpose:

Responsible to create compelling proposition to tap e- governance & m- governance initiative/ opportunity of Government of India - Biggest Umbrella programme launched by Govt of India.

To establish ourselves as a Partner to Governments agenda and creating value for the brand as a leading Telecom player

Responsible to engage Strategically with various consultants, Govt bodies, Application Developers from White paper conceptualisation, approval & implementation through Central & State Govt projects

Actively engage with Marketing & Technology Teams to create & address market needs

Strategic support and facilitate Circle sales teams to roll out these Central ministry solutions on national deals

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Work closely with Consultants & core government agencies like Dept of IT, National Informatics Centre & Key E & M governance Nodal bodies to create Thought leadership by seeding concepts & creating the need with our Propositions.

Drive and Own the Top 25 high value, Potential projects/ opportunities across E & M projects in central ministry / State governments & provide key decision support to circles

Engage closely with the Technology & Marketing to develop customised and specific products to meet Govt specific requirements

Engage with Key stakeholders in Govt (M & E Governance) using Marketing & Technology team to deliver our proposition capabilities

Build relationships with Senior Government / Consulting Decision making bodies with M / E - governance focus to establish Vodafone in this domain.

Create the strategy and Drive M & E Governance Business development activities along with National Sales, Circle VBS & Segment Sales Head, to create robust funnel/ pipeline & take a lead position to tap the potential

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

Large Account Business Development and ability to map & manage relationship at Senior Levels essential

Strategic & People management capabilities ability to manage large, multi- skilled teams

14 to15 Years of B2B experience of which at least 5 years in Business Development from Concept to solution & implementation

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

BE/ B Tech or MBA

Strong analytical, conceptual & solution skills to identify & build new business opportunity.

Ability to manage highest levels of interaction with Senior level Govt / Consultants in customer environment

Experience in complex change management & operating in a matrix, fast moving environment.
