Job Description Desired technical skills: 4 years - 8 years Application Systems Support experience of recording and solving application support issues from customers, prioritizing requests, implementing and communicating timely solutions, both in database and web environments. Role Descriptions:
nMaintain operational readiness of the customer applications in a 24x7 environment.

nProviding application configuration and maintenance as per requests.
n
nIdentify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
n
nStay current with system information, changes and updates
n
nProvide daily remote or onsite second - line support to clients including logging and monitoring calls in ticket
n
nFollow standard processes and procedures;
n
nDelivering support to existing business users and investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries
n
nMonitor progress of requests for support and ensure users and other interested parties are kept informed
n
nProvide correct responses to requests for support by means of for example: making modifications to system parameters, developing work - around or site - specific enhancements, reconfiguring systems, changing operating procedures
n
nContribute to project team efforts to ensure operational support requirements are implemented.
n
nRespond to application outages.
n
nCommunicate technical and non - technical information to technical support groups, customer support centers, and end - users as required.
n
nDocument procedures, policies, and how - to documents to increase efficiency and meet the needs of the business.
nCoordinating with different support teams effectively to solve issues and strong commitment to get job done under pressure . Provided 24 / 7 on call support in production environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. ITIL Certification will be an added advantage. Operating systems familiar with Microsoft Windows and Server;
