Our client is a disruptive startup in the offline retail market that is creating an enterprising platform to bridge retailers and manufacturers across India. Founded by a dynamic duo of IITians with decades of rich experience in companies like Intel, Flipkart, Myntra BCG and Apple, the company is on its journey to make manufactured products more accessible and thereby build some serious competitiveness in the offline retail segment.

 

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be forming part of the organizations initial core team and will be responsible to own the buyer relationships end to end.

 

Locations: Trichy, Warangal, Vellore, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Salem

 

You will have an opportunity to fundamentally change the B2B ecosystem in India, and impact millions of people through innovation in supply chain and business models.

 

What you will do:

  • Actively scouting for potential buyers
  • Planning selection through market visits by understanding buyers insights, seasonality changes and prevalent sales and marketing strategies
  • Identifying potential buyers and clusters, designing and implementing end to end processes from onboarding to account management to managing incentives
  • Being the voice of the buyers within the organization and ultimately owning the success of a particular category
  • Establishing / building long term efficient relationships with buyers, driving the setting up and scaling up with them
  • Designing and running experiments on the ground for improving business intelligence and operational efficiency
  • Researching market trends, buyer needs/segments to develop key insights and growth opportunities
