Department of Law, Sikkim University will be conducting a walk-in-interview for one Post of ‘Research Associate/ Research Assistant’ for the Project titled “Implementation of people’s centric services through e-governance: Policy & problems- A study with special reference to Sikkim in the light of digital India plan.” under the supervision of Dr. Nidhi Saxena (PI) and Mr. Veer Mayank (Co-PI) funded Indian Council of Social Science Research (Ministry of Human Resource Development)Government of India. The initial period of appointment would be for a Month which may be further extended depending upon the requirements of the project and the performance of the candidate. 

Name of the Post: ‘Research Associate/ Research Assistant’

Project titled:  “Implementation of people’s centric services through e-governance: Policy & problems- A study with special reference to Sikkim in the light of digital India plan.” 

Qualification: Minimum qualification for the post is LLM/MA (Sociology/Economics/Anthropology/ Political Science) (regular from UGC recognized University) with minimum 55% marks. Preference however shall be given to candidate with prior field investigation experience.

The essential qualification for a candidate to be considered for the post of ‘Research Associate’ shall be Post Graduation in the discipline indicated above along with either NET or M.Phil or Ph.D. Candidates with the Post - Graduate qualification alone shall be considered only for the post of Research Assistant

Remuneration: The remuneration shall be Rs. 16000/- per Month for Research Associate and Rs. 13000/- Per Month for Research Assistant. No other allowance (e.g. TA/DA/Lodging / etc.) shall be admissible. 

Importent date:

The interview will be held in the Department of Law, Sikkim University, Tadong, Gangtok, East Sikkim on 13th of November, 2017 at 4:00 PM 

Nob shall be admissible to the candidates for appearing at the interview.
