Post Name: Assistant Professor

Qualification:

• Medical Microbiology {Mycobacteriology (Non-Medical)}:

a) Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized/ equivalent) viz. M.Sc. (Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Medical Microbiology).

b) Ph.D degree in the subject concerned of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission.

• EXPERIENCE: 3 years post-PhD teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned.

• Medical Microbiology {Enteric Section (Non-Medical)}:

a) Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized/ equivalent) viz. M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Clinical Microbiology, Medical Microbiology).

b) Ph.D degree in the subject concerned of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission in a field related to vaccinology/proteomics/molecular biology/ immunology.

• EXPERIENCE:  3 years post-PhD research and teaching experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of vaccinology/ proteomics /molecular biology/ immunology.

• Radio-diagnosis:

(a) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Act.)

(b) A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Radiology) (before bifurcation)/MD. Radio-diagnosis/MD Radio-diagnosis & Imaging of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c) The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/ MCI.

• EXPERIENCE:  03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Age Limit:

50 Years as on 27.03.2020.

Pay Scale:

Rs/-15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs/-8,000 with minimum pay of Rs/-30,000 (pre-revised) plus NPA (for medical personnel) further revised in Pay Matrix (Level-12) as per 7th CPC with a minimum pay of Rs/-1,01,500.

On the basis of Interview.
