The Government organization invites applications for Chairs of Excellence Post from eligible candidates having required qualifications. The vacancy is in Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE), Bengaluru, Karnataka. Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications:       

(a)(i) Forestry research / academic professionals with doctorate and 15 years of experience in relevant filed OR (ii)  Masters with 15 years of service in Indian Forest Service out of which a minimum of 5 years experience in forestry research/ academics. (b)Publications in reputed national & International journals. (c)Experience in successful national / international level project formulation/  management  / implementation / monitoring. (d)Experience   of   working   with   Govt.   of   India   organization   and   networking   with   Government / Non Governmental national and international organizations.             

Desirable Qualifications:                        

(a)National/International recognition in relevant filed.

(b) Member / fellow of various national & international academic councils /bodies.

(c) Experience in modern scientific techniques including GIS & IT based solution.

Experience:

(i) Forestry research / academic professionals with doctorate and 15 years of experience in relevant filed OR

(ii) Masters with 15 years of service in Indian Forest Service out of which a minimum of 5 years experience in forestry research/ academics.

Age Limit:

The person applying for the position of chair shall not be more than 65 years as on 1st June 2020.

Application Fee:

A demand draft of Rs/-1000- in favour of Director, Institute of Wood Science and Technology, Bengaluru. The amount of Demand Draft is non-refundable in any case.

Selection Process:

The selection will be on the basis of Interview.
