Jammu University Recruitment 2017 – 99 Teaching & Non Teaching Posts: Jammu University has issued a notification for the recruitment of 99 Professor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Director, Librarian, Deputy Librarian & Assistant Director vacancies in various departments. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 31-01-2017 (extended to 20-02-2017). Jammu University Vacancy Details: Total No.of Posts: 99 Name of the Posts: 1. Professor: 33 Posts
2. Assistant Professor: 20 Posts
3. Associate Professor: 41 Posts
4. Director: 02 Posts
5. Assistant Director: 01 Post
6. Librarian: 01 Post
7. Deputy Librarian: 01 Post

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess an eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline with minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/ college for S.No-1, Good Academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in relevant subject from an lndian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University, NET/ SET/ SLET for S.No-2, Good academic record with a Ph.D Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines, Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) minimum of eight years of experience of teaching for S.No-3 & for other details refer the notification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, interview.

Application Fee/ Form: Candidates can obtain application form from Assistant Registrar (Forms and stationery), University of Jammu, Jammu personally on payment of Rs. 1210/- or by sending crossed Indian Postal order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 1260/- (if required by post) drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Jammu, Jammu-180006 or those who submit the downloaded application form shall be required to enclose crossed lndian postal Orders or Bank Draft worth Rs. 1210/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, university of Jammu, Jammu-180006.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates send their application in the prescribed format with recent passport size Photograph pasted (not pinned), attested copies of qualification certificates, testimonials, publications etc as mentioned in the notification clearly for each post should be sent only through registered post to the Assistant Registrar (Teaching Wing), First Floor, New Administrative Block, University of Jammu, Jammu (Tawi)-180006, J & K State on or before 31-01-2017 (extended to 20-02-2017).

Last Date for Submission of Application: 31-01-2017 (extended to 20-02-2017).
