Post Name: Project Assistant - Ligo-India Education and Outreach

Qualification:

Bachelors degree (Physics/ Mathematics/ Astronomy/ Engineering), from a recognised University.

i. 1 year in Science popularisation/ Amateur astronomy in English, Hindi and Marathi

ii. Handling social media for large projects,

iii. use of ICT, including proficiency in using office software and cloud based tools, as well as web development,

iv. handling various Audio-Visual capture and editing tools,

v. Working with the scientific community in connecting them to educators/ public,

vi. Working in urban and rural areas for Science/ Astronomy popularisation.

Age Limit:

Not more than 35 years

Period of Contract:

06 months extendable to 03 years

Remuneration:

Consolidated salary of upto Rs. 30,000/- per month
