These Post-Doctoral Fellow Post are on a project entitled “Synaptic and molecular determinants controlling speed of olfactory information processing and decision making” in IISER Pune, Pune, Maharashtra on contract basis. Qualification:

Ph.D. in Life Sciences or equivalent discipline with experience and expertise in electrophysiological experiments, whole cell patch clamp electrophysiological recordings, gene expression studies, cell biology and molecular biology techniques.

Project:

“Synaptic and molecular determinants controlling speed of olfactory information processing and decision making”

Pay Scale:            

(1) Rs/-47,000+ 24% HRA per month

(2) Candidates who have submitted their thesis, but not completed defense (i.e. candidates without a provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be designated as Senior Research Fellow and paid Rs/-35,000 + 24% HRA per month till the time of submission of Provisional Ph.D. certificate.

Age Limit:

• PDF: Not more than 40 years as on closing date of advertisement.

• SRF: Not more than 32 years as on closing date of advertisement.

Selection Process:

On the basis of Interview.
