Name of the Post :

1. Research Associate (RA) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) /Senior Research Fellow (EXTENDED)

Qualification

• Research Associate (RA)

Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after ME/M.Tech and passing of NET/GATE test.

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

(i) M.Sc., BE, 8.Tech., or equivalent degree, and at least two years of Post-M.Sc., BE, B.Tech., research experience, as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals;

(ii) ME, M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology and passing of NET/GATE test.

• Senior Research Fellow (EXTENDED)

Those who have submitted PhD thesis can also be selected for RAship provisionally as SRF(extended), for one year only pending award of PhD degree, through interview and they have to get regularized as RA after award of PhD degrees but within one year.

Fellowship:

• Research Associate (RA): Rs. 36,000 pm as per CSIR guidelines.

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs.14,000 pm as per CSIR guidelines.

• Senior Research Fellow (EXTENDED): Rs.20,000 pm (for one year only.)

Selection Process:

On the basis of Interview.
