Qualifications & Experience

Professor (Veterinary Anatomy)

1. An eminent scholar actively engaged in teaching/research/extension with published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books and having Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Anatomy/Veterinary Anatomy & Histology.

2. Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with minimum OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.

3. Ten years’ experience in teaching/research/extension education in Veterinary Anatomy/Veterinary Anatomy & Histology out of which atleast two years should be as Associate Professor or Equivalent and remaining as Assistant Professor/ equivalent (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree will not be counted as research experience)

Professor (Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry)

1. An eminent scholar actively engaged in teaching/research/extension with published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books and having Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Physiology/Veterinary Biochemistry.

3. Professor (Livestock Production Management)

1. An eminent scholar actively engaged in teaching/research/extension with published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books and having Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Physiology/Veterinary Biochemistry.

2. Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with minimum OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.

3.  Ten years’ experience in teaching/research/extension education in Veterinary Physiology/Veterinary Biochemistry out of which atleast two years should be as Associate Professor or Equivalent and remaining as Assistant Professor/ equivalent (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree will not be counted as research experience).

4. Professor (Livestock Farm Complex)

1. B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.V.Sc. from a recognized Institution passed at least in second division.

2. Master’s degree in Animal Genetics & Breeding/Animal Nutrition/Livestock Production Management/Veterinary Medicine/ Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics with minimum OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.

3. An eminent scholar actively engaged in teaching/research/extension with published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books and having Ph.D. degree in any of the above branches of Veterinary/Animal Science.

4. Ten years’ experience in teaching/research and extension education in the relevant subject out of which atleast two years should be as Associate Professor or Equivalent and remaining as Assistant Professor/ equivalent (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree will not be counted as research experience)

5. Professor (Veterinary Clinical Complex)

1. An eminent scholar actively engaged in teaching/research/extension with published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books and having Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Medicine/Veterinary Surgery & Radiology/Veterinary Gynaecology& Obstetrics.

2. Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with minimum OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.

3. 11. Associate Professor (Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics)

1. Ph.D. degree in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics/Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics/ Animal Gynaecology/ Animal Reproduction.

2. Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with minimum OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.

3. Eight years experience in teaching/research/extension education in Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree will not be counted as research experience).

19. Assistant Professor (Veterinary Surgery)

1. B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.V.Sc. at least with 2nd division

2. M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Surgery/Veterinary Surgery & Radiology with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks

20. Assistant Professor (Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics)

1. B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.V.Sc. with atleast second division

Pay Scale:

1. Sr. Nos. 1 to 5: Rs. 37400-67000+GP of Rs.10000/-

2. Sr. Nos. 6 to 12: Rs. 37400-67000+GP of Rs. 9000/-

3. Sr. Nos. 13 to 23: Rs. 15600-39100+GP of Rs. 6000
