Qualification:

Research Analyst

i. The candidate should have a good academic record, with at least a second class Master’s degree in Economics/ Econometrics/ Agricultural Economics/ Statistics/ Agricultural Statistics from an Indian University or equivalent degree from a foreign University.

ii. Proficiency in data processing/ analysis and computer skills. In particular, proficiency in software such MS-office, E-Views, Stata, R etc.

Senior Research Analyst

In addition to the qualifications mentioned above for Research Analyst, a minimum of one year experience in teaching/ research in Economics / Statistics/ Agricultural Economics in a recognized Institution or University is necessary. In particular, experience in organizing and conducting rural economic investigations/ surveys and handling primary and secondary data on agriculture or related subjects is preferred.

Payscale:

Research Analyst: Rs.  35,000 – 53,000

Senior Research Analyst: Rs.  45,000 – 68,000

Selection Process:

The selection will be on the basis of Interview.
