Andhra Bank is a medium-sized public sector bank (PSB) of India, with a network of 2803 branches, 4 extension counters, 38 satellite offices and 3636 automated teller machines (ATMs) as of 31 Mar 2016. During 2011–12, the bank entered the states of Tripura and Himachal Pradesh. The bank now operates in 25 states and three Union Territories. Andhra Bank has its headquarters in Hyderabad, India. The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of RRB written exam scores and the personal interview. The IBPS Recruitment (CWE VI) is issued to recruit the aspirants for Group A Officer (Scale – I).

Exam Pattern for Officer Scale-1

Main Exam:

1. Main exam will be objective type and will be conducted online.

2. The question paper will have 200 questions for 200 marks and contains 5 sections namely (1) Reasoning, (2) Quantitative Aptitude, (3) General Awareness, (4) English & Hindi Language, (5) Computer Knowledge.

3. Time allotted for the exam is 2 hours.

4. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. If a question left blank, there will be no negative marking for that question.
