# Assumptions of this chapter - Strategic Management

Those assumptions which are important for a proper understanding of the plan should be detailed. Specific opportunities, or problems which spring from these, will appear later in the document, and some form of cross-referencing is useful. General effects of the assumptions will occur throughout the plan and will not need this treatment. In Chapter it was argued that many assumptions defined and used on the way to the final plan are not essential to its interpretation and should not appear in it.
