Load and Unload - SAP WM

Use
You can use this function for controlling the loading of handling units onto modes of transport such as trucks, trains, and so on. You can also use this function to control the unloading of goods from incoming means of transport.

When loading goods, you can determine the load sequence. This is important, for example, if goods with different destinations are loaded onto one truck. If you want to load the delivery onto more than one means of transport, you can split the delivery.

Features
The following options are available:

  • Load by Shipment: Handling units are loaded according to a known shipment number.
  • Load by Delivery: Handling units are loaded according to a known delivery number.
  • System-Guided
  • Unload by Shipment: Handling units are unloaded according to a known shipment number.
  • Unload by Delivery: Handling units are unloaded according to a known delivery number.

You receive information on this shipment, such as the delivery, the staging area, and the dock. Regarding the handling units, information on the number of (un)loaded handling units, the total number of handling units, the weight of each handling unit and the total weight will be provided.
  5. With F1 Save, the handling unit that you entered is (un)loaded and the system updates the data on the number of handling units already (un)loaded and their weight.
