Phase Controlled Converters Solved Example - Power Electronics

What are the examples for Phase Controlled Converters?

An excited DC motor will have below parameters: 220V, 100A and 1450 rpm. Phase Controlled Converters framework will be having 0.1 Ω resistances. Additionally, it will be supplied from a 3 phase fully controlled converter which is connected to a 3-phase AC source with 50 Hz frequency and 0.5 Ω inductive reactance and 50Hz. At α = 0, the motor operation will be rated at torque and speed. Suppose that the motor will break re-generatively by making use of the reverse direction at its rated speed. Now, calculate the maximum current under which commutation is not affected.
