What is JavaScript Number - NEGATIVE_INFINITY?

This is a special numeric value which represents a value less than Number.MIN_VALUE. This value is represented as "-Infinity". In its mathematical behavior it is similar as an infinity behaves. For example, If NEGATIVE_INFINITY is multiplied by anything results in NEGATIVE_INFINITY, and anything divided by NEGATIVE_INFINITY is zero.

Because NEGATIVE_INFINITY is a constant, it is a read-only property of Number.

Syntax

The syntax to use NEGATIVE_INFINITY is as follows −

var val = Number.NEGATIVE_INFINITY;
