Pushing trusted certificates to Notes clients - IBM Lotus Notes

Cross-certificates can be created in the Domino Directory for Internet certifiers and Lotus Notes certifiers and then pushed down to the local contacts database. Cross-certificates are used to establish client trust of a certifier when accessing servers, reading encrypted S/MIME mail, or installing signed Lotus Notes client plugins. Pushing cross-certificates to users will prevent end users from being prompted to cross-certify. You can also push Internet certifiers to clients and enable users to create cross-certificates themselves. You can do this through Domino security policy settings or through customization of the Lotus Notes client installation kit.
