Table Layout - HTML

The table-layout property determines how a user agent sizes a table. This property takes one of two values, auto or fixed. If this property is set to auto, the user agent automatically determines the table’s width primarily from the contents of the table’s cells. If this property is set to fixed, the user agent determines the table’s width primarily from the width values defined in the tags and styles.

The empty-cells property controls whether the user agent displays empty cells or not.
