Corporate houses may have rules against gender discrimination, but women employees still don't get paid as much as their male counterparts.

Women employees earn 27% less than men: Survey

A recent survey revealed that Indian women are making 27% less salary than men for the same job position. The survey has been taken among the group of 40388 participants across different age groups, industries and roles. One more interesting fact is that 79% of respondents are male only. This difference is found as 36% in IT sector and 19% in finance sector. Education sector employees get lowest pay as compared to other sectors like IT and finance.
