Experience Calculatoris what gives you information about an employee’s total experience with the current company, previous company or the experience in total or the experience in the current domain. The input that is needed is just the start date. To calculate the previous company experience you need the respective employee joining and leaving date of the previous company whereas to calculate the experience with the current company the joining date along with the date till which the experience is to be calculated are needed as inputs.

Check with the formula below each of which is to calculate experience in months or years or days. These formulas are used to calculate the candidates tenure till date.
Years of experience calculator: =DATEDIF(B2,NOW(),"Y"),where B2 is the start date. For total experience B2 will be the date when the candidate started first employment, for experience with current company B2 will be when the employee has joined the current company.
Use the formula =DATEDIF(B2,NOW(),"M"), to calculate the years of experience in months count. Chose an empty cell where you want the months count to be calculated and enter the formula then drag down the cell to calculate the same for all those input fields.
In the same way if you want to calculate the experience in terms of both years and months then use the formula =DATEDIF(B2,C2,"y") & " years, " & DATEDIF(B2,C2,"ym") & " months ". In this case B2 will be the joining or entry date and C2 will be leave date or current date.
