Difference between experience letter and the relieving letter is that the experience letter is a letter that states what kind of experience you have, whether the organization has been happy about you and the relieving letter only states officially that you have been relieved. The first and foremost difference between experience letter and the relieving letter is a relieving letter is an official letter issued to the employee once he resigns from the organization. In this letter, the HR department confirms the employee that the organization accepts the resignation and notes the final date of employment whereas an experience certificate is a letter that states that the holder of the letter has experience with a certain organization/company for the certain duration of time. It is given by the employer to their employees and it is essential for employers to offer new jobs as a proof of your earlier work experience.

These two letters are issued to certify your performance for a particular tenure in an organization and both are issued by the concerned section. Relieving letter vs. Experience letter can be described as the experience letter is issued with the Full & Final settlement of the employee stating the working tenure and designation of an employee. The experience certificate also describes the experience of the organization with that worker, which acts as a proof and helps the employee further in her/his career. Whereas the relieving letter is issued on the last day of employment with the organization to an employee after giving the last handover. It states that the member of staff has been relieved from all his roles being in the specific profile and has given the final handover letter to the concerned person.
