A warning letter to an employee is issued by the boss or HR of the company for unacceptable behaviour of an employee. This letter is used as an informative tool to the employees that her/his actions should not be tolerable further more.'the consumption of alcohol and other substance abuse, during the work hour is punishable and most of the organisations may terminate the employees for obeying rules and leads to termination. Some companies use to conduct sudden medical checks at the workplace. It helps to maintain the discipline at the company. If any employee is reported to work under the effects of alcohol then conduct a consistent program to eradicate this alcohol habit that will provide results in the long run. If any employee found drunken at work place then you need to consult with your reporting managers on the actions to be taken and create three escalating level punishment, for non-adherence. Here’s a sample warning letter to the employees when they drunken.
Dear Mr. Ravindran,
You have joined our organisation on 11/2/2016 as a trainee sales executive in our sales department.
AS a trainee sales executive your job responsibilities include calling customers, establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions. Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
On 1/2/209 you were in office in a drunken condition and misguided the customers over the phone. Your above act of indiscipline is a serious misconduct, which warrants severe actions against you. Since you have accepted your mistake and assured that you won’t repeat these kinds of mistakes in the future, we have decided to let you off with a warning.
Hence you are hereby warned not to repeat this kind of misconduct in future, you are also advised to strictly follow the work instructions. In case if you are repeating these mistakes again, we will take severe actions against you as deemed fit.
