Researchers are exploring the top 100 words used on Twitter Expressing your thoughts and views in 140 characters on Twitter may actually be improving your language skills, shows a new study. Out of the total words only two were shortened and they are RT (re-tweet) and U (you). Researchers also opined that the limit of characters will be improving its users' writing as it forces them to wring meaning from fewer letters. Longer words contain very less spaces and it reduces the waste. The study is presented inDataclysm: Who We Are (When We Think No One's Looking).
