Video interviews: Many companies recruiting via video interviews by assessing the people based on skills mentioned on their profile. A potential jobseeker can also submit a video by describing about the present job and career aspirations within a stipulated time frame lines. If the candidate shortlisted then they would be called for another round of video interview where they are given three set of questions nothing related to work but something to gauge business understanding and attitude. If it is goes well then the candidate is expected to join immediately.

Checking digital footprints: Talent acquisition firms developed an algorithm that helps companies to hire candidates based on their digital foot prints. It helps to assess an employee before they come for an interview. Companies are looking for the candidates who are well versed with the company culture and changing demands. Social media profile of a job candidate throws light on the kind of person coming on board.

Coding contests: Coding contests is another platform to improve skills and get promoted. About one third of employees do participate in Codethans and hackathons to learn and up skill. Many jobseekers felt that they got good job opportunities as a result of participation in Codeathon.

Volunteering:Today, many electronic product manufacturers are calling college students to use their products and intensify the usage among others. Initially it will facilitate hands on access to new gadgets but lateral they are considered for ad-hoc positions in the company. While this is different from internships, as an intern it is must to have required skills but here knowledge about the product is enough.

Live projects: Some startup companies are giving some live projects to screen candidates instead of conducting traditional interview methods. The candidates will be selected for the next rounds of interview, based on the results of customer engagement.
