Salaries up 27% for those switching jobs; e-commerce paying up to 50% more: Survey

A latest survey found that, professiaonls looking to switch their jobs in 2015 can expect an average hike of 25-27 percent more than previous year's employees. People who are moving to the ecommerce are expected to get the best pay. The survey mentioned that people who wish to switch from the sectors like IT, FMCG and retail could see salaries rise 35-50 per cent. The study also found that, lateral hires in the financial services, IT and information technology enabled services (ITeS) sectors will get an average hike of 25 per cent, compared with 20-22 per cent last year. Manufacturing sectors offers 2 percent increased hike as compared previous year and pharma sector will offer the same 25 per cent.
