As per the indian findings of the IIC partners global succession study 2014 reveal that 61% of top ledaers in India perfer the senior exceutives who could motivate and encourage other employees who performes well in team. After this motivational fact the traits in senior people who are most valued by organisations are Ability to adapt change is 51 percent and ability to idnetify the talent devlopment is 44 percent and stable high performance is 38 percent. Managing dierctor of this study says that Succession planning is potentially the biggest concern area for leading multinational companies and large organisations in India. The objective of the study was to understand different aspects of succession planning, the challenges and the possible solutions.
