Recent survey by professional network site LinkedIn found that job seekers seek detailed information about their prospective employers as more than half of the country's professionals look at the company's website before applying for a job. The survey mentioned that 58 per cent look up a company's website and 46 per cent read company reviews.
Indian job seekers are more likely to read company reviews than global part. Experts suggest that companies need to take care of their brand, where job seekers are digitally savvy... search for information from prospective employees who may have many alternative career options. As per the survey job seekers search for the information to learn about a company's culture (67 per cent), perks and benefits (54 per cent) and employee perspectives (53 per cent).
