Recent employment trends revealed that, e-commerce industry witnessed a 35% year-on-year growth; one percentage point higher than in April. The online demand for engineering professionals is on rise this month. However, printing and packaging industry is witnessing a steep double-digit annual growth rates.

Online hiring activity falls for 2nd consecutive month in May

IT-hardware and software industry saw drop in hiring activities, BPO/ITes saw moderate growth and office equipment/automation saw drop in hiring activities. Online recruitment in the production and manufacturing sector has registered a double digit year-on-year growth of 35%. Overall basis online hiring activities saw marginal drop from the year-on-year growth of 28% in April.
