Knowledge workers across countries such US, UK and Germany believe the roles they do today will not exist in five years' time. Over 655 feel that their roles doesn't exist the same, the study also finds that "virtual" is the new reality for many teams.

One-in-three knowledge workers do not believe their roles will exist in five years

Over 42% of knowledge workers reported that virtual teams can be more effective than face-to-face teams, and nearly 49% report that their organizations operate through technology and communication rather than through offices and locations. The survey also found that over 75% knowledge workers believe that digital technology, the internet and social media, has fundamentally changed the way they behave in the workplace.
