NID graduates create app-enabled smart pots for plants

Behind this backdrop, the graduates of the National Institute of Design (NID) have developed an intelligent flower pot and an app that will help the plants water themselves. Greenopia, which is an internet based- smart gardening kit contains smart pots and a mobile app which helps the user to monitor and take care of their plants remotely. The smart pot has sensors which always track the status of the plant and also checks whether it's receiving enough water and sunlight, or if soil conditions are optimum.
