More than 50% Indian firms are not using Mobile Recruitment tools, Survey Reveals

Recent survey mentioned that recruitment firms in India not using mobile recruiting teams. However they are using applicant tracking system and video interviewing many companies in India are not using mobile recruiting tools which makes talent acquisition process more effective, survey indicates.

According to the survey Indian professionals are not taking advantage of mobile recruiting tools like technology and business strategy. Over 80 percent of talent acquisition leaders do not use mobile recruiting tools, as per the survey. While, job seekers search for the job opportunities via mobiles but leaders do not use mobile recruiting tools in talent acquisition process. Mean while India topped the list of applicant tracking system usage and video interviewing system usage. As per the survey, over 53 percent of Indian respondents using applicant tracking system and 48 percent of recruiters using video interviewing for recruitment compared other nations. The survey further mentioned that only 50 percent of respondents reported that their recruitment team is aligned with their organization business objectives and goals. Among them 20 percent mentioned that they don't have strategic business plans which results in creating strategic business needs for future. A leading recruitment firm head said that,It's critical that talent professionals work closely with the company's business and hiring managers to define and communicate the employer value proposition - why a candidate would their organization over a competitor, The survey mentioned that, employers work with RPO partners to source and screen candidates for effective talent acquisition. The survey indicates that, some organizations are using other services like employer branding, building talent communities, or creating metrics for reporting and decision making. Very few organizations in India are using employer branding services from RPO partners. This is low when compared to global at 13 per cent and APAC at 16 per cent, survey mentioned.
