According to a survey, nearly 28 percent of job applicants applying for senior level positions with experience levels between 11-15 years in 2015 are women; as compared to 15.3 per cent in 2014 and 10 per cent in 2013. There were more applicants for the experience levels between 7-10 years and 15-plus years.
The increased applicants are specifically applying for the leadership roles. "Recruiters are also now looking at hiring more women employees because they are realizing that increase in women's representation in leadership positions has a real, tangible impact on an organisation's financial and talent outcomes said recruiting firm head.
